Eight students of SYNA International School accompanied by two teachers took part in the Fifth World School Chess Competition held at Greece, where a total of 317 students of 31 countries competed. Anshuman Singh of Class III won the bronze medal in the under-7 group. AT this age of 7 years he made a history for our country and has become the youngest player from M.P. having won an international award. All the other students also contributed in their respective age groups.
 
 
 
12 Students and 3 staff Members along with Principal Capt. Ray participated in the 9th International Children’s Festival of Performing Arts at New Delhi from 27th to 30th Nov 2008. The students took part in the “Dance Drama” competition. With the theme “How Ganesha got Elephant’s head?”, SYNA students brought laurels to the School by winning the 1st prize amongst 65 Indian schools teams as well as Students from 35 other countries. The dance drama was choreographed by the Dance Teacher-Mr.Rahul Dixit and the Costumes were designed by Mrs. Rajreet Ray.
