The SYNA Chess Club journey started in 2008 under the dynamic guidance of honorable Secretary of SYNA Mr. Sanjay Pathak when the school initiated chess activities and formed SYNA CHESS CLUB.The school officially registered the SYNA Chess Club with the ALL INDIA CHESS FEDERATION & MADHYA PRADESH SANGH in the Year 2008. We are now a BIG NAME in the field of chess amongst CBSE Schools & MP Chess federation.Syna takes pride in announcing the victory of Mr. Niklesh Jain (Fide-chessInstructor) having won the   championship in the 'Buddhi International Open   Rating Chess Championship`, Srilanka. It was a tough competition comprising 394 participants in a triangular series of the countries- Srilanka, India and Maldives Chess Federation. He scored 8.5/9 and succeeded as a sole champion. Somil Randhelia student of class 7 scored 5.5/9 and qualified for Asian school chess championship. The school organised CBSE west zone chess championship in the month of Oct, 2010.Almost six hundred students participated in it under different categories.The school team in the under 14 category stood third overall and was selected for the national CBSE championship.
